Large-format 18th-century Russian icon depicting the Mother of God with the Crucified Christ, painted on canvas on a two-plank panel and retaining its original repoussé copper oklad dated 1739. The icon is attributed stylistically to the Yaroslavl-Kostroma (Upper Volga) school.
