A striking early composition by John F. Marok, depicting a stylized figure in bold costume beneath a dark bird in flight. Executed in 1989, the work reflects Marok’s characteristically expressive brushwork, use of vivid contrasting colours, and surreal undertones that bridge figuration and abstraction.
