Description

A striking abstract color lithograph by Dutch-Canadian artist Hendrikus Bervoets, inscribed “To Ene” and signed Hendrikus Bervoets ‘73. The work features a dynamic composition of sweeping vertical bands in yellow, pink, and ochre set against a vibrant blue circular form, characteristic of Bervoets’ 1970s graphic experiments in color and movement. Hendrikus Bervoets is noted for his contributions to Canadian printmaking and design in the 1970s, often blending European abstraction with a distinctly Canadian sensibility. Works from this period are rare, and dedicated impressions such as this underscore the artist’s close ties to collectors and patrons.

Edition: Artist’s proof or dedicated impression (un-numbered, dedicated “To Ene”)
Condition: Very good overall with rich color; minor handling and light toning at edges.
