Description
Lot of two enamel plates, from the Mao era in China, known as The East is Red. One plate features an image of Tiananmen Gate and the slogan, The East is Red. The second features a revolutionary theme, along with the slogan The working class must lead everything. Marked on back, 1969.. 12 inches diameter. Minor spot of loss to paint on one plate, some rust to backs.
