RARE Danish Egyptian Revival Silver Pastry Lifter Christesen

Very rare Danish solid silver 826 grade silver pastry lifter in the Egyptian Revival style, the handle showing the image of a woman’s face, marked on back with hallmarks for assayer Simon Groth (active 1863 – 1904) and the three towers Danish guarantee mark showing what appears to be the date 1898, also marked V Christesen for master silversmith Vilhelm Christesen (1822 – 1899) and who was active in Copenhagen from 1893 to 1910, also showing other unidentified marksweight 33 grams, 6 inches L x 3 W.
