Large Antique Map Isle of Mull, Scotland, 1654

An exceptional large map of the Isle of Mull, Scotland, dating back to 1654, likely to be by Joan Blaeu, a dutch cartographer, from his Atlas Maior. It is framed with glass on front and an opening on the back to display the text behind the map, of the history of Mull (MVLA). Measures approx 22.5 x 19 inches and framed 24 x 20. Provenance: A Dutch family collection that moved to Montreal in the 1920s.
