Large Antique Japanese Carved Seated Buddha
Large Antique Japanese Carved Shibayama Seated Buddha. With pendulous ears framing the soft face, the Buddha with tight whorls of hair and serene expression, seated cross-legged with a small dragon rising out of an alms bowl. Early 20th century. With a custom wood stand. Figure measures 18 inches H x 11 W x 10.5 deep, with stand measures 22 inches H x 12.5 W x 12 deep. Damage to finger, as shown. This item cannot be exported from Canada.
