French Alphonse Debain Sterling Asparagus Tongs
Rare French solid silver 950 grade asparagus tongs or lifter, also known as a main pince in french, the sides with an elaborate foliate openwork design, showing French hallmarks head of Minerva, and makers mark AD for Alphonse Debain, also showing Debain’s Bte S.G.O. patent mark, circa 1900. 130 grams. 4 inches W x 4 deep.
